Question:

Can my child still get schoolwork during a suspension?

Answer:

Maryland school law requires that students who are suspended receive instruction commensurate with the program in the regular classroom. The school must make provisions for the student’s education during in-school suspension. This includes receiving daily classwork and assignments from each teacher, which should be reviewed and corrected by teachers on a weekly basis and returned to the student.
